Special Education Programming Offered Via EAPs

August 10, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – EnCompass Education has partnered with Ceridian to deliver special education modules as part of standard employee assistance program (EAP) offerings.

A news release said EnCompass Education trainers are subject matter experts with extensive experience in working with students and their families. Programming consists of seminars and clinics which can be scheduled in a series or as a single offering and includes, among other topics, “Autism Spectrum Disorders and Special Education,” “Special Education IEP Clinic,” “Understanding IEP’s – The Process and the Document,” and “What Parents Really Need to Know about Special Education.”

The announcement said EAPs are encountering an increasing number of parents and grandparents in the workplace struggling to address the school-based needs of their children and grandchildren with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, and a host of other “hidden issues.”
