SSgA to Launch MSCI Index-based ETFs in Europe

October 19, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - State Street Global Advisors and Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) have agreed to launch a series of exchange-traded funds, or ETFs, based on MSCI indexes in Europe.

The new fund, streetTRACKS Wilshire REIT Index Fund, a subcomponent of the Wilshire Real Estate Securities Index, is designed to measure the performance of US publicly traded equity Real Estate Investment Trusts.
