SSgA Unveils Advisor Portfolio Program

January 4, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - State Street Global Advisors has launched SSgA Portfolio Constructor that enables financial advisors to design client portfolios.

According to a SSgA news release, Portfolio Constructor allows financial advisors to assess a client’s risk tolerance and construct customized portfolios accordingly, using a range of investment strategies and asset classes. These include ETFs, listed securities, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts, according to the announcement.

Portfolio Constructor includes analytics and Monte Carlo simulation capabilities and produces investment proposals and investment policy statements.

Portfolio Constructor is available on the Advisor Strategies Web site at  http://advisors.ssga.com . Qualifying US financial advisors can register to gain access to the tool and other proprietary content, data and business-building resources, according to the company.
