Standard Unwraps Participant Data Tool

October 3, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Standard Insurance Company has developed a new Web-based tool to help plan sponsors manage participant contribution data.

The “Participant Data Management” tool gives retirement plan sponsors the ability to validate contribution data and transmit it directly to The Standard’s administration system.

PDM’s system prompts allow plan sponsors to control the quality of plan data, ensuring the data and dollars submitted to The Standard are correct. Plan sponsors may also use the tool to add new employees to The Standard’s records, and they also can enter investment directives and control the Automatic Rebalancer on behalf of participants.

The site is password protected, giving plan sponsors control over who may send or view the data.

The Standard, a provider of retirement plan services for more than 65 years, offers investment options from 15 mutual fund alliances. Products are available on a full service or recordkeeping-only basis.
