State Street Beefs Up Governance Tracking Offering

December 15, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - State Street Corporation has added to its portfolio performance and analytics capabilities with technology and data enhancements that enable customers to evaluate the governance attributes of their investment portfolios.

A State Street news release said GovernanceMetrics International, a provider of corporate governance research and reporting, will supply State Street its governance ratings for thousands of investment securities.

State Street will then utilize these rankings to enhance its performance analysis and reporting services to provide customers with expanded analysis and increased risk management of their investment portfolios, according to the announcement.

State Street’s corporate governance service enables clients to analyze their portfolio investment profile based on the governance rankings of their securities. Customers can analyze their portfolios relative to benchmarks and in comparison to their peer portfolios, according to the announcement.
