According to the announcement, as of August 31, the I-shares are available to clients of financial intermediaries who charge an ongoing fee for advisory, investment, consulting or similar services. The account minimum for each fund is $1 million.
The Stephens Small Cap Growth Fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of US small-cap companies – typically companies with market cap of $2.5 billion or less. The Stephens Mid Cap Growth Fund seeks long-term growth of capital through investment in a diversified portfolio of stocks from US companies with market cap between $1.5 billion and $12.5 billion.
I-shares are expected to have a reduced expense ratio of approximately 1.25% for both the small and mid cap funds, the announcement said.
