Sun Trust Adds Online Education Program

Sun Trust Banks' retirement savings plan now have access to
an online education and planning program, according to a
media announcement.

Sun Trust said the new tool, Allocation Express, is designed to teach investors the principles of diversification, asset allocation, time horizon, and risk versus reward, and then to simplify the process of selecting investments that match individual savings goals.
Participants have access to the service online through their personal account menus. Allocation Express was developed by Communi(k), a financial software and communications provider based in Portland, Oregon.
Sun Trust said Allocation Express helps investors understand risk and return over time through a new data visualization technology called Total Immersion Chartology.
