SunTrust Launches Enhanced Web site for 401(k) Participants

November 2, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - SunTrust Banks, Inc. launched an enhanced version of PlanLink, the online access point for employees of SunTrust’s Institutional 401(k) clients.

The Web site offers new content, an improved user experience, and streamlined navigation, the company said.

The redesigned Web site employs a interactive pre-login page that provides users instant access to educational content and calculators through the SunTrust Retirement Toolbox, an online resource that assists plan participants in navigating the retirement planning process and saving for a solid financial future. The Toolbox includes videos, articles, guides, and tools targeted to participants in different stages of retirement planning.

Throughout the site, streamlined navigation and the use of visual tiles engage the user, making information easy to find and encouraging activity within the site and participation in the plan. Plan-specific bulletins and participant-targeted messaging are a focal point of the redeveloped site, providing participants up-to-date information about plan events and actively prompting them to take action to maximize plan participation.
