Susan Mangiero Joins Prudential Retirement

July 19, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Prudential Retirement has announced the hire of pension risk governance expert Susan Mangiero as Director and Senior Pension Risk Strategist.

According to a recent press release, Mangiero will report into Prudential’s Business Intelligence Office and provide support to the Pension Risk Transfer business. Her responsibilities will include creating qualitative and quantitative market research and analysis surrounding pension de-risking, Prudential says, and she will also serve as the firm’s subject matter expert for competitive and market intelligence in this area.

Mangiero joins Prudential with twenty years of experience in capital markets, global treasury, asset- liability management, portfolio management, financial risk control and valuation. She previously served as president and chief executive officer of Investment Governance, Inc., an investment best practices and education company.
