Symetra, Washington Master Builders Association Team up for Benefits Package

May 3, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Master Builders Association of two Washington counties is offering its member employers a new benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan that is not restricted by the number of employees in the plan or a minimum dollar amount in the plan.

According to a press release, the benefits package from Symetra Life Insurance Company is only available to employers in the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties and also includes voluntary term and universal life insurance.

The Symetra 401(k) program features non-proprietary, multi-manager mutual funds, which includes 80 funds from investment management firms.

Employees can purchase voluntary individual term and universal life insurance.

There are no administration requirements or direct costs for employers because employees own their policies and premiums are withdrawn through payroll deduction.
