T. Rowe Price/Ernst & Young Offer Participant Advice
In its press release the company said it has made an agreement with Ernst & Young to offer employers preferred pricing options for employee financial education and counseling services. These services include:
- Telephone access to Ernst & Young financial planners,
- Group workshops,
- Face-to-face counseling, and
- Web-based learning and modeling tools.
According to the release, Ernst & Young financial counselors, through the EY Financial Planner Line, offer personalized and unbiased guidance on the following topics:
- Investment allocation,
- Meeting retirement objectives,
- College savings,
- Making informed decisions about health coverage and other benefits,
- Estate planning,
- Life insurance,
- Debt management, and
- Other areas of personal finance.
Ernst & Young also offers on-site financial education workshops on topics such as retirement planning, cash management, education planning, and becoming better health care consumers.
T. Rowe Price said in its release that Ernst &Young financial counselors will also learn the details of a company’s pay and benefit plans, enabling them to help employees understand and appreciate their benefits in the context of personal financial planning. Ernst & Young financial counselors will not provide advice with regard to any specific securities or investments.
