Templeton will now provide international value and core investmentoptions to complement the international growth strategy currently provided to Sierra’s Taft-Hartley, or multi-employer, plan clients, those health and welfare andpensionfunds established through collective bargaining between one or more laborunions and two or more employers.
In addition, Sierra will offerlabor screens for both the international growth and value strategies to monitor plan investments. These screens will covers issues such as:
- Human rights
- Child labor
- Environmental issues
The new alliance will serve as an extension of a previous agreement between Sierra and FTI affiliate Fiduciary Trust Company, which provides international growth strategies to Sierra clients.
