The Principal Announces Return of Retirement Regional Vice President
April 1, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Randy Blanchetti has reassumed the role of regional vice president of the southeastern region for Retirement and Investor Services at the Principal.

Effective today, Blanchetti returns to the Principal after spending three years as a retirement plan consultant for American Funds. Prior to that, he was regional vice president of retirement and investor services at The Principal as part of a 17-year career. He joined the company in 1989 and held several leadership positions, according to the announcement.
In his “new” position, Blanchetti will lead retirement professionals at The Principal who work with financial professionals to provide retirement plan services to employer clients. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Blanchetti earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
“We are thrilled to have Randy resume his leadership role here at The Principal,” said Doug Grove, in a press release. “Randy is a retirement industry veteran and highly respected sales professional. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. We look forward to having him back on the team.”
