According to a press release, Weekley will be responsible for retirement plan sales in Georgia and Tennessee.
Weekley comes to The Standard with more than seven years of experience in the retirement plan services industry, most recently serving as an independent fiduciary consultant for Broad Street Capital Advisors. He also previously worked as a Regional Sales Director for the Harford Retirement Plans Group, and as a Field Sales Coordinator and Internal Wholesaler for Transamerica Retirement Services.
Weekley is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. According to the release, he has attained the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation and holds the Series 6, 63 and 65 security licenses, as well as an insurance license for the state of Georgia.
“Chris has a wealth of experience assisting brokers, financial advisors and clients in the Georgia market,” said Steve Loseff, regional pension manager for The Standard’s Central Region, in the announcement. “His thorough understanding of their needs will make him a valuable asset.”
