The Standard Appoints Chris Wolfe as Pension Consultant for Portland

According to the announcement, he will be responsible for retirement plan sales in Oregon, eastern Washington, central California and New Mexico.

Wolfe has worked in the retirement plan services industry for nearly 15 years. He has worked for The Standard since 2001 in a variety of retirement plans roles. Most recently, he served as a pension consultant in The Standard’s Phoenix Retirement Plans sales office. Prior to that, he worked as an account manager as well as an internal sales consultant in the Portland home office.

“We are pleased to have Chris back in the Pacific Northwest, working with channel partners out of our Portland sales office,” said Niki Green, regional sales manager for The Standard’s West Region. “His experience, dedication and passion for the business will serve them and their retirement plan clients well.”

Wolfe is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He holds the Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as the Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) from the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), and the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He also holds the Life, Health and Variable Products insurance license in various states.
