TIAA-CREF Joins with Ibbotson to Provide Advice and Planning Tools
December 16, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - TIAA-CREF has
announced that it has partnered with Ibbotson Associates to
provide participants with advice and planning
tools.

TIAA-CREF will provide its participants in defined contribution plans with asset allocation guidance and specific fund recommendations based on Ibbotson’s independent financial modeling expertise. The company said in a news release that this will be done taking into consideration participants’ specific financial goals and personal information.
TIAA-CREF plans to begin offering this service early next year to institutional retirement plans that are on the company’s Open Plan Solutions platform.
