Transamerica Expands Partner Series III Product

February 18, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Plan sponsors for small- and mid-sized companies have a new avenue to explore to design a customized retirement plan for their company working with a local Third Party Administrator (TPA).

Transamerica Retirement Services has expanded and enhanced its Transamerica Partner Series III product.   The retirement plan product is now designed to work with local TPAs giving plan sponsors more localized service at the same time receiving support from Transamerica, according to a news release.

Additionally, Transamerica Partner Series III expanded features include a wider array of investment options, as plan sponsors will be able to choose from over 70 investment options accessing 15 fund families, as well as a self-directed brokerage account available through Harrisdirect.   Further, companies will have access to an array of fiduciary management tools, including a new Fiduciary Guide, which helps employers fulfill governmental compliance requirements for their retirement plan.

The Transamerica Partner Series III also features a revamped enrollment program, including interactive kits and workshops that walk employees step-by-step from goal evaluation through enrollment. These new workshops and materials are part of a spectrum of tools that Transamerica Retirement Services offers to participants, helping them to take control of their retirement planning.
