Travelers Unveils Workers Comp Info Site

October 16, 2001(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Travelers Insurance has launched a Web site that gives injured workers online access to workers' compensation information.

  Using a standard Web browser, injured workers from employers of any size may:

  • locate state workers’ compensation benefit explanations,
  • print forms,
  • get answers to frequently asked questions,
  • find a local claim office,
  • obtain medical self care tips for selected injuries, and
  • receive home delivery of pharmaceutical needs

A second phase is currently under way that will allow the injured worker secured access to his or her particular claim information with direct e-mail capabilities to the claims adjuster.
