Trustar Offers New Bundled 401(k)

June 1, 2001 ( - Trustar Retirement Services has rolled out Charter Advantage, a bundled, open architecture 401(k) retirement plan program targeted at the small and mid-sized market.

Designed as an offering for financial advisor distribution to smaller plan sponsors, Charter Advantage offers investment choices from over 550 mutual funds. The product includes a choice of brand name funds or proprietary offerings, and can be co-branded or private labeled.

The product includes:

  • enrollment materials
  • plan administration kits
  • daily valuation services
  • transactional voice response and Internet services
  • plan conversion support
  • call center access

Trustar also provides training and sales support for the financial institution, including toll-free in-house sales support, a nationwide team of sales consultants, proposal preparation, and marketing materials.
