TrustMark Takes Off the Wires

September 25, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - TrustMark has gone wireless with the addition of Pocket Innovator, which users of the TrustMark 3 Daily Innovator Defined Contribution recordkeeping system can use to provide wireless account access to retirement plan participants.

The service, which uses Wireless Application Protocol (WAP), will be available in the fourth quarter.

Participants will be able to access account information using their Social Security number, and the same personal identification number (PIN) that they use to access account information via phone (Voice Innovator) and the Internet (Web Innovator).

Participants will be able to access:

  • Balances by contribution source or investment
  • Vested account balance
  • Price per share/unit
  • Investment elections
  • Current portfolio percentage

Participants will also be able to have instant access to participant service representatives through the “liveHELP” feature, placing a phone call to the participant call center from within the Pocket Innovator session.

TrustMark has also unveiled 3 Daily Innovator, a new release of its MBA/3Daily recordkeeping software. Enhancements include the ability to produce custom reports by manipulating individual data fields, adding graphics, and incorporating external information.

TrustMark is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation.
