UBS Unveils Hedge Fund Index Certificates

March 10, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - UBS Warburg is now offering investment certificates issued by UBS Warburg AG, Frankfurt, whose performance is directly linked to the S&P Hedge Fund Index.

These certificates, offered in lots of   $10,000 and €10,000, will be available both to institutional and individual investors, according to a news release.   The S&P Hedge Fund Index certificate will be available to investors throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America from both UBS Warburg and third-party distributors.  

The S&P Hedge Fund Index certificate offers the holder a bearer note listed on a major European stock exchange and is traded in a regulated market.  Due to the securitised format, it can be settled via Euroclear or Clearstream.
