Upgrade Initiative for Retirement Plan Platform Launched by TruSource

August 3, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - TruSource, Trust Outsourcing Partners, has announced its first phase of an upgrade initiative for its PlanStat Web site.

The PlanStat Web site provides partners, financial advisors, plan sponsors, and participants online access to plan and investment information.   A company news release said the first phase of the upgrade adds features to provide users with access to real-time market information, mutual fund data, plan summaries, and additional participant educational tools.

Plan sponsors will have access to a scrolling ticker showing current pricing from Dow Jones for core funds and participants will see a ticker with pricing information for the funds they are invested in, according to the release.

The new PlanStat fund information center will give users a view of mutual fund data and the ability to chart performance over time and against relevant indices.

The new plan highlights module provides sponsors with a summary of their plan’s provisions, including vesting schedules, company contribution information, and deferral limits.  The education center provides participants with tutorials, calculators, and informational articles about investing.

Future upgrades scheduled include:

  • investment advice for participants,
  • personal rate of return information,
  • automatic IRA rollovers, and
  • customized reporting for plan sponsors
