Van Kampen Unveils Retirement Plan Shares

Investments is offering a new "R" class of shares for four of
its funds to help broaden retirement plan access.

The Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois-based investment company announced the retirement plan shares for its:
- Van Kampen Comstock Fund
- Van Kampen Emerging Growth Fund
- Van Kampen Equity and Income Fund
- Van Kampen Growth and Income Fund
According to the company’s news media release, the shares are also designed to help financial advisors increase their retirement plan sales.
The new share class is available for 401(k) plans, 457 plans, defined benefit plans, profit sharing and money purchase pension plans, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, and 403(b) plans held in plan level or omnibus accounts, Van Kampen said.
