Vista Research Unveils Private Equity Offering

June 6, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Chappaqua, New York-based Vista Research and Management has announced the introduction of the Listed Private Equity Plus Fund.

AVista news release said the new offering provides investors with an opportunity to invest in the global private equity sector, with all of the flexibility and convenience associated with a traditional actively managed open-end mutual fund.

The new offering has a goal of long-term capital appreciation. Its goal is to outperform the MSCI World Index over the medium to longer term while providing the diversification and low correlation to broad market indices that an alternative asset class, such as Private Equity, offers, the company said.

Fund holdings will include private equity and venture capital firms, listed private equity funds, and companies that supply expansion and buyout capital as well as mezzanine financing. The fund also invests in investment and merchant banking companies that furnish advice and financial resources for private equity transactions and that may also manage private equity funds.

The Listed Private Equity Plus Fund will continue through June 30, 2007 with the fund commencing operations on July 2, 2007. During the subscription period, investors can invest in the fund at an offering price of $10.00 per share, without a sales load. The minimum initial investment is $1,000.
