Watson Wyatt Picks Up Chicago Firm

October 6, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Watson Wyatt Worldwide has acquired Davis, Conder, Enderle & Sloan (DCE&S), a Chicago actuarial and retirement benefits consulting firm.

According to a Watson Wyatt news release, the acquisition will add 29 retirement consultants and staff, including 17 actuaries, to Watson Wyatt’s existing staff in Chicago.

Founded in 1992, DCE&S provides a full range of actuarial consulting services for corporate pension and retiree medical benefit programs. 

All seven DCE&S principals, including three of the firm’s four founders – David Conder, Gordon Enderle and Matt Sloan – will join Watson Wyatt.  The fourth founder, Rowland Davis, had previously retired.
