Watson Wyatt to Acquire WisdomNet

June 14, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Consultant Watson Wyatt Worldwide announced its intentions to purchase WisdomNet, a Denver-based firm whose main product is a solution to help businesses with talent management.

According to a press release from Watson Wyatt, its acquisition of WisdomNet will increase Watson Wyatt’s talent management capabilities by delivering compensation planning, performance management, succession planning, career development and workforce planning functionality.

The deal is expected to close in July 2007.

“The acquisition supports Watson Wyatt’s vision to deliver a comprehensive suite of global people management services to our clients that combines our deep domain expertise and consulting with software and data solutions,” said Paul Platten, global practice director of Watson Wyatt’s human capital group, in the press release.

WisdomNet’s principals Brian Wilkerson, Gregg Wilkerson and David Schleupner will join Watson Wyatt.
