Wells Fargo Introduces New Institutional Trust Product

December 4, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC and Wells Fargo Institutional Trust Group, have launched Wells Fargo Managed Allocation Portfolio, offering investment programs to small and mid-sized institutional trust clients.

Wells Fargo Managed Allocation Portfolio will allow institutional trust clients to select multiple money managers and allocate assets across various investment styles and asset classes.  

In addition, the service will utilize Wells Fargo’s proprietary investment model, Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA), to shift and rebalance portfolio holdings according to a client’s investment objectives and the current market environment.

Doug Murray, Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo’s Institutional Trust Group said the product was developed in response to small and mid-sized institutional clients wanting, “asset allocation strategy designed specifically for their risk tolerance level and the ability to employ multiple managers within their portfolio.”
