Pontera, Manulife John Hancock Announce Retirement Platform Collaboration

Fintech company Pontera Solutions Inc. announced a strategic collaboration with Manulife John Hancock Retirement, the U.S. retirement business of Manulife Wealth & Asset Management. The companies will work together to allow for secure and compliant management by advisers of held-away accounts, including 401(k)s.

Pontera’s platform lets advisers analyze, rebalance and monitor workplace retirement accounts, while also safeguarding clients’ data. The firms’ partnership will also allow for more access to personalized advice for participants about their defined contribution accounts, according to the announcement.

The firms anticipate that the platform will add value to plan sponsors’ offerings by allowing participants to make better-informed financial decisions in consultation with the adviser of their choice.

iJoin, Manifest Partner on 401(k) Consolidation

iJoin, a retirement plan infrastructure technology provider, announced a partnership with Manifest, a platform for consolidating retirement accounts, to help customers with rollovers and other retirement plan decisions.

Participants can use one login to view their 401(k) accounts from current and past employers in an “intuitive interface” and can find and transfer retirement accounts in less than 10 minutes, according to the companies’ joint statement.

According to iJoin and Manifest, their integration lets recordkeepers and retirement plan advisers grow assets and improve participant engagement.

True RX Health Strategies Launches New Mobile App

True Rx Health Strategists, a pharmacy benefits manager, launched its new mobile application, True Rx+.

True Rx+ is a digital extension of True RX’s service model, True Experience, according to a statement from the company. True R+ combines mobile and desktop technology with live support from True Rx’s health strategists. The app offers a personalized dashboard, real-time medication prices across local pharmacies, prior authorization status tracking and one-on-one health guidance.
