Ceridian Acquires Michigan Benefits Firm

December 12, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - HR consulting firm Ceridian Corporation has acquired selected assets of GLS Benefit Services LLC, a benefits administration-outsourcing firm.

Ceridian’s acquisition of Birmingham, Michigan-based Great Lakes is effective immediately, the announcement said.

The companies said GLS customers will benefit from access to Ceridian’s experience helping to solve clients’ HR problems.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Ceridian is based in Minneapolis.
