Investors Continue to Pour Money into Hedge Funds
November 19, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Hedge funds
continued to be a popular investment alternative during the
third quarter with a net $6.8 billion inflow.

Tremont’s TASS Research said total net assets flowing into hedge funds year-to-date through September was about $17 billion.
In its quarterly analysis of industry fund flows, Tremont’s TASS Research found that investors continued to favor (with third quarter inflows):
- Long/Short Equity, $2.1 billion net inflow
- Event Driven strategies, $1.7 billion net inflow
- Fixed Income Arbitrage, $1.1 billion net inflow.
