Do you know which animal is responsible for the most human deaths worldwide?
It’s the mosquito.
The mosquito carries disease-causing viruses and parasites from person to person without getting illnesses itself. They can transmit many diseases, including, encephalitis, but are especially known for causing yellow fever, dengue fever and malaria.
Mosquitoes are estimated to transmit disease to more than seven hundred million people annually, resulting in millions of deaths.
