Mercer Adds Hire to Health and Benefits Business
June 22, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Mike Vaught joined Mercer’s health and benefits (H&B) business June 4.

Vaught, who is based in Detroit, leads client development and service delivery for Fortune 1000 companies in the Great Lakes. He reports to Dard Hunter, who leads Mercer’s H&B business in the Midwest.
Vaught worked at Mercer for a decade until 2006, when left to serve as market leader and vice president of client management at Aetna. He earned his bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from Eastern Michigan University.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mike back to Mercer,” said Mike Ponicall, Partner and Michigan Office Leader at Mercer. “His depth of experience and success as a consultant is a welcome asset as we seek to further develop our health and group benefits business in the Great Lakes.”
