Canadian Employees Treat Office Printers as Their Own

June 18, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The majority of Canadians who work in offices abuse the workplace printer, according to a survey conducted by Angus Reid Strategies on behalf of Samsung Electronics.

Sixty percent of employees reported sending personal print jobs amid office memos and expense reports, Angus Reid said in a press release on the survey results. Surprisingly, the individuals most likely to abuse the office printer were those who could best afford their own – 67% of respondents who lived in households that earned an annual salary of $100,000 or more said they used the business printer for personal purposes.
