AFP Launches New Web-Based Training Program

October 15, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) has introduced AFP Learning System: Treasury, a Web-based self-paced continuing education program.

The system aims to give treasury and cash management professionals an opportunity to increase their understanding of these two areas while preparing for the association’s Certified Cash Manager (CCM) certification. A certificate of completion is awarded once the course is completed with at least a 70% pass rate.

This self-paced curriculum covers the 16 content areas from AFP’s the ‘Essentials of Cash Management, Seventh Edition,’ in seven module computer-based testing components.

In addition this program offers:

  • Printed text to be used as an everyday reference to financial challenges
  • Comprehensive overview of the most current cash and treasury management practices
  • Online glossary
  • Bank of more than 400 questions and several testing methods.

AFP developed the program with the Holmes Corporation, one of the nation’s leading institutional design and development firms.
