AllianceBernstein Hires Managing Director for Business Development Team
November 28, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – AllianceBernstein L.P. hired Edmund Grant as a managing director for business development and client service for institutional investors.

Grant will work closely with the Fixed Income and Alternative Investment teams, and will report to John W. Akkerman, senior managing director – Alternatives/Fixed Income, Global Institutions. Grant is based out of the firm’s Philadelphia and New York offices.
Grant most recently spent 15 years at Delaware Investments where he served as vice president of institutional sales and client service. He began his career at AIG Global Equities and spent eight years as a combat engineer officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He earned a BS and an MBA from Drexel University and is a CFA Charter holder.
