Alta Automates Convertibles Trade Processing

October 9, 2001(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Intelligent Markets has introduced Alta, a convertible securities trade order management system that tackles the trade and order management needs of dealers in the convertibles market.

The new system provides order and trade management for both outright and contingent orders including:

  • order routing to external exchanges, and
  • real-time trade reporting for reportable securities

It also provides real-time trade recommendations and live, dollar-neutral pricing of swaps orders and allows dealers to:

  • view live client trade histories,
  • manually or automatically trade against client orders, and
  • electronically route residual stock orders

Additionally, Alta can be connected to multiple downstream systems preparing dealers for straight-through processing and eliminating the need for manual trade entry into multiple systems.
