American Express Introduces Employee Rewards Gift Cards

According to the AEIS announcement, the Persona Options Card is an everyday shopping card tailored to be accepted at more than 60 retail establishments, including home improvement, office supplies, electronics, home décor, apparel, and jewelry stores. The broad demographic availability of the retailers makes it an appealing reward for employee recognition or sales incentive programs, the announcement said.

The Celebrate Card is specifically designed to celebrate employee service anniversaries and safety program achievement. It is accepted at more than 110 retail and specialty merchandise establishments, including home decor, apparel, gift, electronics, and sporting goods stores. Because the card is focused toward merchandise purchases, it may qualify for tax benefits governing certain achievement awards, AEIS said.

Clients may customize the new cards by co-branding or fully customizing the card face. The cards are protected by AEIS’ lost and stolen replacement program and supported by 24/7 customer service.
