Adams brings nearly 30 years of retirement industry experience, most recently serving as vice president and head of retirement and wealth management at the Horace Mann Insurance Co., according to the announcement. He previously spent 24 years as a partner in and executive vice president of Benefit Consultants Group and BCG Securities, overseeing operations across retirement consulting, recordkeeping, administration and broker/dealer management.

DiMaggio joins American Trust Retirement from Vanguard, where she was senior manager of operational excellence. Her 25-year career includes roles in recordkeeping services, nonqualified plan administration and process redesign.

The moves follow the retirement announcement of Kevin Thompson, who led American Trust Retirement as president and served as chief administrative officer of AmericanTCS’ parent company, EdgeCo Holdings L.P. for five years.

AmericanTCS serves more than 425,000 retirement plans with more than 7 million participants, servicing about $600 billion in assets as of March 31, according to the company’s website.
