According to company spokesperson Kurt Wedewer, plan sponsors and participants can now elect to obtain their account balance information via an email sent to their home or work email address. Clients can also choose to have a text message or email sent to their cell phone.
They can elect to have the email or text sent weekly, monthly, or quarterly, and the information will include the change in balance since the last email/text transmission. There is no additional charge to existing clients for this service, Wedewer said.
