In this newly created role, Zimmerman is responsible for leading Aon Hewitt’s global marketing strategy and bringing integrated solutions to market around health, retirement and talent, with a connection to risk. Zimmerman reports to Dave Hill, global chief commercial officer of Aon Hewitt, and serves on the Aon Hewitt executive committee. She also join’s Aon’s global marketing executive team, and has a functional reporting role to Aon’s global marketing and chief communications officer.
Prior to joining Aon Hewitt, Zimmerman served as head of marketing and product development at Legg Mason Global Asset Management where she oversaw the development and execution of marketing strategy, and investment and retirement solutions. Zimmerman also was a member of the Americas Distribution Senior Leadership Team. Before that, she was an officer with Allstate Insurance where she led the Strategy and Business Development practice for Allstate Financial, a division of Allstate that provides financial protection and retirement savings products.
Zimmerman earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a BA from Dartmouth College. She serves on the Board of Directors for the North Shore United Way and Mental Health America of Illinois. She is a member of the Business Marketing Association and Retirement Income Industry Association.
