Bank of New York Launches Commission Management Site

November 18, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Plan sponsors and money managers are the target of a new Web site designed to help manage commission spending and directed brokerage practices.

The Bank of New York’s Brokerage arm, BNY Brokerage Inc., has launched the new Internet service Client Reporting Portal.   With this service, plan sponsors will be able to access their BNY Brokerage accounting information, including commission statements and trading activity through a centralized Web site.   Further, the portal offers support for client compliance efforts through its historical archive and central source of commission data, according to a news release.

Supporting Client Reporting Portal is a dedicated client service team.   In addition to support, the client service representatives can also provide access to other aspects of BNY Brokerage, including:

  • account snapshots
  • a bill processing workflow module
  • a centralized database of independent research and third-party service providers.

Additional information is available through  www.bnybrokerage.com .
