BISYS Helps Firms Hook Up With Individual(k) Data

November 5, 2003 ( - A new product from outsourcer BISYS helps small companies hook up with an advisor or broker about an Individual (k) plan product.

According to a BISYS news release, its Individual(k) Advisor Registry database system generates a listing of local financial advisors via a zip code search who deal with Individual(k) retirement plans. In addition to contact information, the database includes each participating advisor’s credentials and a customized promotional message.

Participating financial advisors receive BISYS’ Individual(k) Sales Kit, which provides a variety of sales support tools including a multi-media tutorial, plan comparison calculators, scripted PowerPoint presentations and sample prospecting letters.     BISYS also supports advisors with access to detailed information on more than 15 of the nation’s leading Individual(k) plan providers and various investment products.  

Through an alliance with Larkspur Data, a provider of sales prospecting tools for financial advisors, BISYS also provides access to the nation’s first Web-based Individual(k) prospecting tool, which includes information on more than 200,000 Individual(k) plan prospects.
