BMO Rebrands Retirement Business
April 6, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - BMO Global Asset Management announced a renewed focus on enhancing their recordkeeping services and employee education capabilities.
Reported by Rebecca Moore
As a result, the defined contribution services business, now known as BMO Retirement Services, will no longer be operating under the Institutional Trust Services umbrella. The Milwaukee-based BMO Retirement Services will continue to feature an open architecture platform, which will be augmented by BMO Global Asset Management’s investment management capabilities.
According to Phil Enochs, CFA, managing director, head of relationship management for BMO Global Asset Management, BMO Retirement Services seeks to be counted among the major players in the U.S. retirement market.
BMO also intends to maintain and grow its specialty teams that service not-for-profit and Taft-Hartley clients.
