BNY ConvergEx Group Announces Two New Sales Execs
A news release said the company tapped Thomas J. Mackell, III, Senior Vice President, as National Director of Taft-Hartley Sales, and Jeffrey A. O’Brien as Senior Vice President, Plan Sponsor Sales.
In his new role, Mackell will be responsible for business development for key Taft-Hartley clients and prospects nationwide with a focus on increasing transition management business in that sector.
O’Brien, who previously helped build the transition management business at Bear Stearns, has rejoined ConvergEx and will work with defined benefit clients to develop and increase cost-efficient transition management opportunities.
The firm has over 2,000 plan sponsor and pension clients worldwide, with assets totaling more than $3 trillion.
