BONY Opens Money Fund Site

March 29, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Institutional investors can now tap into a range of short-term investment vehicles through MoneyFundsDIRECT.com, a new transaction-based Web site from the Bank of New York.

Plan sponsors and investment managers can link directly to more than 20 mutual fund families through the site, as well as:

  • research fund information
  • download reports
  • buy and sell funds
  • check daily balances
  • transfer funds.

The site also offers access to monthly money market commentary from Goldman Sachs, and a glossary of financial terms.

The site ( www.moneyfundsdirect.com ) currently lists funds from AIM, Alliance, Blackrock, Dreyfus, Federated, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, Janus, JP Morgan, MCM, NationsFunds, SEI, Valiant Funds and Wells Fargo, in addition to BONY’s Hamilton Funds.
