BoNY Taps Two Asset Management Execs

May 13, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Bank of New York (BoNY) announced two executive appointments in its Asset Management and Asset Solutions unit.

BoNY tapped Steven Pisarkiewicz as executive vice president and head of BNY Asset Management, which offers corporations, nonprofit organizations and high net-worth individuals and families a variety of equity, fixed-income, and alternative investment products.

Pisarkiewicz joins BoNY May 19 from AllianceBernstein, where he was chief investment officer of structured equity services and senior portfolio manager and member of the Investment Policy Group for value equities. Pisarkiewicz received a BS from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Pisarkiewicz will report to Thomas Renyi, BoNY chairman and chief executive officer.

Also named by BoNY was James Vincent as president of BNY Asset Solutions. Vincent was previously senior vice president and managing director of GE Capital Corp.’s Real Estate Group, where he formed the capital market and placement groups, as well as managed all the commercial real estate securitization transactions.
