Buck Consultants Names Director of Health and Productivity Practice

January 17, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Robert Ferraro, R.Ph. joined Buck Consultants as a director in the firm’s health and productivity practice.

Ferraro is a pharmacy benefit specialist and will serve in Buck’s national clinical practice. Located in the firm’s Phoenix, Arizona office, he will serve clients across the Midwest and West.

With 17 years of consulting experience, Ferraro has advised a wide range of employers, unions and Trusts on the design, negotiation and implementation of prescription drug programs, as well as identifying relevant claim administration, outcomes management, cost management and benchmarking strategies. In addition to his consulting responsibilities, Ferraro will also support the firm’s sales and marketing efforts.  

He joins Buck from Marsh and McLennan Companies (Mercer). Previously, he served with CVS Caremark in both clinical manager and pharmacist roles.

Ferraro has a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University. He holds active pharmacist licenses in several states.
