The Triangle (NC) Business Journal said the Morrisville office outside of Raleigh will close in mid-2011 and that work done there will be transferred to Ceridian’s office in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Company spokesman Cary Griffith told the newspaper that some employees will be transitioned to virtual work arrangements while others are considering relocating to St. Petersburg.
Griffith said the Bloomington-based provider of human resources, payroll and benefits programs is offering retention and severance packages to ease the transition.
Privately held Ceridian has more than 8,000 employees worldwide.
