Chao Schedules 2002 SAVERS Summit
October 29, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - US Secretary of
Labor Elaine Chao has scheduled the second of the three
National Summits on Retirement Savings for early next
year.

The second summit, which aims to encourage Americans to save for retirement, will be held from February 27 to March 1, 2002 at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC.
Chao is planning the summit in consultation with other federal departments, agencies and private-sector businesses and associations.
The agenda will be published in the Federal Register later this year. Those interested in becoming delegates should contact their Congressional representatives or the White House.
Chao has requested that Congressional leaders send their delegate selections to the department by November 15, 2001.
