Deutsche's MacIntyre to Join NYC Comptroller's Office

January 14, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Desmond MacIntyre, Deutsche Bank's European pension strategist, will become chief investment officer for New York City Comptroller William Thompson.

In his new function, MacIntyre will manage around $75 billion in assets. He will take up his new position in a few weeks.

MacIntyre joined Deutsche in May 2001 after a brief tenure as chief financial officer at Asset International, publisher of PLANSPONSOR magazine and this Web site. Prior to that he was CFO of General Motor’s pension fund.
